I love castles. Adore them. I love to run around seeing what pieces of history I can find, small and large, and imagining what they must have been like for the people who inhabited them. These castles though, they’re my absolute favourites; and this time they are absolutely ranked with the best at the top!

She’s massive, imposing, deeply haunted, and absolutely gorgeous. With the exception of Rochester Castle, Dover is by far my favourite in all the world.
