Not all those who wander are lost, but I certainly am!
I’m definitely a city girl. Despite having lived in smaller towns most of my life, I love the energy and sleeplessness that big cities provide. I’ve been to a fair few such cities in my life, but these are my top five.
The pandemic is hitting harder than ever. In Northern Ontario where I live the sun is barely coming out, and those of you who live in the the darker places of the world know what that means; a serious case of the winter blues. It’s not the healthiest habit in the world, but when I’m down and out I do enjoy a bit of comfort food from my favourite restaurants.
I try to pack as lightly as I possibly can, but other than my wallet and hand sanitizer these items are what I consider super essential for me when I travel. Don’t get me wrong, I can deal without them, but life is better and easier with them around. Let’s get right into it!
This week has been stressful, I know. There’s a lot going on, there’s a lot of uncertainty, and it’s not fabulous. That’s why this week I figured I’d give you something a bit more idyllic, gentle readers.
I know that for every different person there is a different way to travel, and different opinions about how it must be done. There do seem to be some pervasive themes which I have encountered time and time again and I just don’t understand where these opinions came from or how they perpetuated.
