Not all those who wander are lost, but I certainly am!
My eyes kept flicking from my phone, the time, and the flight board. A few maintenance workers passed me, likely wondering if I hadn’t lost my wits. It was uncertainty, delays, stress, yelling, a sprint marathon, missed connections, and a panic attack all sunk into a little under forty eight hours.
The plan was to get food, get a plane ticket, get my stuff, go home. God must have had a proper laugh when that plan popped into my head.
After several hours of delays the flights were then cancelled, and the airlines were plunged into the Herculean task of having to deal with all of those angry customers. Eventually we were told the plan: Birmingham.
